| Molded of clear polycarbonate to provide seamless construction and corrosion proof performance. This "Clearly Superior" design provides full view of the camcorder, control functions, and assurance the system is safe. The base removesinstantly with a unique toggle clamp for traveling or attaching of the optional Pro Video-Lite 3 battery pack. The handle assembly detaches from the housing by removal of just two nuts for packing. The port is threaded for fitting optional 67mm threaded waterproof wide-angle lenses such as the Ikelite W-20. Also accepts Inon (UWL-100 Type 2) and Epoque (DCL-20). The camera's large LCD screen can be seen through the housing back. Housing operates safely to 200 feet. This spectacular new JVC digital camcorder is so small that the housing is an absolute delight. A complete housing and camera combination weighs only about 9 pounds. Housing only measures 6" wide; 10.5" wide with the removable handle bar attached; 8.5" high including the removable base; and 8" deep including knobs and port. | |||||||||||||||
